IHE North-American Connectathon 2012
Forcare achieves record breaking results at the North-American IHE Connectathon 2012.
Zeist, February 3rd, 2012. At the North-American connectathon early January 2012 Forcare received 46 gold stars while validating its software products for IHE Conformance. With this great achievement Forcare again establishes its front-running position in the landscape of truly open and standards-based interoperability. IHE profiles are the corner stones of successful health information exchanges (HIEs).
Apart from the basic IHE profiles such as "Cross-enterprise Document Sharing (XDS)" and "Audit Trail & Node Authentication (ATNA)", Forcare successfully validated its support for more recent profiles such as XCA-I and DSUB. XCA-I allows for easy exchange of diagnostic images between health information exchange communities. This enables meaningful use of radiology outcomes. XCA-I is supported by Forcare's new product forBridge. ForBridge will be on display at the HIMSS 2012 exhibition.
Forcare's forIndex product-support for the Document Subscribe (DSUB) Profile enables smart notification of information availability. Through DSUB, other systems and users can be alerted when new information becomes available for their patients.
Forcare will be present at the HIMSS 2012 Exhibition/Conference (Booth #3873) and at the HIMSS IHE Interoperability Showcase. Forcare will demonstrate how health information exchanges can be built on open and standards-based interoperability.
