forstore_21_kleinForStore 2.1 is an IHE XDS document repository, to store and archive documents created by clinical information systems (“document sources”). After receiving the documents, forStore 2.1 will register the availability and format of these documents with the central registry. ForStore 2.1 ensures information availability and integrity by supporting transactional file storage.

The actual storage can be performed on any standard storage platform that you choose to use (e.g. NAS or SAN). This makes forStore 2.1 the ultimate scalable storage solution for IHE XDS implementations.

Administration and configuration is performed via a web-based admin tool, which works for single node installations as well as clustered configurations.
