DICOM Training
DIgital COmmunications in Medicine (DICOM) is the de-facto standard for communication and storage of clinical images. Since its introduction in 1993 many vendors of medical imaging equipment have adopted the standard. However, due to the many options in the standard, in day-to-day situations it may still be difficult to make DICOM work for you.
Forcare offers a DICOM training that will:
- Introduce to the DICOM standard and make you familiar with the important concepts in the standard.
- Apply DICOM concepts to your local (PACS) configuration.
- Enable you to use DICOM to solve your workflow issues.
- Learn you how to analyze DICOM communication problems.
- Enable you to read and understand DICOM conformance statements from your suppliers.
IHE Training
The Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) initiative has received an increasing support from both vendors and users since its inception in 1998. Driven by the need to integrate healthcare IT systems, IHE communities have defined generic solutions to common problems using existing (medical) communication standards.
In this training Forcare will:
- Introduce the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise framework.
- Help you understand how to find your way in the IHE profiles.
- Enable you to select the IHE profiles that are relevant to your organization.
- Enable you to apply IHE concepts to your system configuration.
- Enables you to select which IHE profiles are relevant to be supported by your suppliers.

Forcare offers training in cooperation with partners as applicable. We can modify a training to fit your particular needs and have extensive experience in provided tailored training programs.

It is our aim to make the courses as useful and relevant as possible for your organization. In general no specific (technical) expertise is required.
