forView – a web-based viewer for clinical data
ForView is a web-based viewer that allows clinicians access to all documents registered in an IHE XDS-based healthcare information exchange. It provides various ways to search for information, presents documents in a historical overview and allows access to documents with one simple mouse click.
Wide range of document support, upload facilities, BPPC and easily integrated
ForView supports a wide range of document formats, from simple PDF or text-based documents to sophisticated, well-structured clinical information using the HL7 v3 CDA standard. Custom actions can be configured, including the use of existing clinical applications. Specifically for images, ForView supports JPEG, Flash and MPEG viewing.
ForView can also be used to upload clinical documents through custom-defined forms. Furthermore, it provides a means for registering patient consent (for information sharing and access) via the IHE Basic Patient Privacy Consent (BPPC) profile.
ForView can easily be integrated (“embedded”) in your local EMR environment through a published URL interface and is highly customizable. Browser-support includes both Microsoft Internet Explorer as well as Mozilla Firefox.
